CAD Operator / Snr. Cad Operator Water Resources

Job Summary

We are looking for a CAD Operator – Water Resources to prepare accurate 2D/3D engineering drawings for water supply, pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs, wet utilities and related infrastructure projects. The role involves working closely with Civil, Hydraulic, Water Resources and BIM teams to deliver drawings as per project and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare plans, profiles, sections, layouts, GA and construction drawings for water infrastructure.
- Develop drawings for water pipelines, chambers, valves, crossings, reservoirs and pumping stations.
- Convert engineering mark-ups and design inputs into accurate CAD drawings.
- Update drawings based on engineering/client comments and maintain revisions.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support BIM coordination where required.




- Ensure drawings meet project, CAD and client standards.
- Assist with tender, detailed design, construction and as-built drawings.

Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma/Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Drafting or related field.
- 4–9 years of relevant CAD drafting experience, preferably in water/utilities/infrastructure projects.
- AutoCAD is mandatory; Civil 3D preferred.
- Knowledge of Revit/Navisworks/BIM is an advantage.
- Positive understanding of water supply networks, pipelines, wet utilities and civil infrastructure drawings.
- Experience in Middle East/Gulf projects is preferred.
