Summary of Job Profile/ Purpose of the position:

To lead precision metrology operations, execute offline/online 3D CMM programming, conduct complex GD&T; evaluations, maintain master calibration systems, and act as technical liaison with Japanese
counterparts, customers, and auditors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Precision Measurement & CMM Programming, Perform offline/online 3D CMM programming (Zeiss Calypso) and operate Mitutoyo Roundness, Surface Roughness, and Quick-Vision optical measuring systems.
- Drawing & GD&T; Evaluation Evaluate complex 2D/3D engineering drawings, datum setups, and stack-up tolerances applying advanced GD&T; principles.
- Cross-Border & Customer Liaison Direct technical coordination with Japanese counterparts and OEM engineering teams for measurement method alignments, fixture approvals, and drawing clarifications.
- Audit & Calibration Governance Oversee internal and external master instrument calibration schedules,



ensuring full traceability; prepare and host customer and IATF 16949 metrology system audits.

(Six Sigma green belt is a robust Plus)

Managerial Competencies:

- Planning and prioritization of measurement room workflows and equipment utilization.
- Time management and adherence to master calibration schedules.
- Accountability and ownership during customer defect escalations.
- Leadership in coordinating with Japanese counterparts and OEM engineers.

Technical competencies:

- Advanced GD&T; & 2D/3D Drawing Interpretation.

Proficient in developing offline CMM programs, conducting layout inspections, verifying measurement capability (MSA), leading cross-company technical discussions with Japanese management/clients, and managing laboratory calibration compliance.
