Role Description
The Supply Chain Analyst, Labor Planning will support and enhance our labor and capacity planning functions at ShipBob. With a growing global network of fulfillment centers, you will play a critical role in analyzing labor requirements, building planning tools, and ensuring operational efficiency across sites. You will work closely with operations stakeholders and cross-functional teams to optimize labor allocation and meet merchant SLAs.
This role will report to the Supply Chain Operations, Labor Planning Manager.
What you'll do
- Assessing current and projected labor capacity across fulfillment centers to optimize for cost and SLA performance.
- Maintain and update staff planning models for all facilities.
- Build and maintain labor planning tools and dashboards using Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
- Run analytical simulations and reconcile data across multiple systems to validate labor models.
- Collaborate with operations stakeholders, process managers, and implementation teams to align labor plans with merchant needs.
- Support peak season planning and strategic expansion initiatives.
- Develop centralized reporting solutions for accurate data publication and Informed planning.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.
What you'll bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in labor or capacity planning within warehousing or fulfillment environments.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL; familiarity with PowerBI and Python preferred
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
