Roles & Responsibilities of Gold Loan Appraiser-

- Perform gold purity checks correctly using the banks methods. Make sure gold valuation is accurate and follows all rules.
- Prepare clear and complete appraisal documents, keep records updated, and follow UV and documentation guidelines.
- Follow all SOPs, KYC, and audit requirements while handling and storing gold safely. Report any suspicious, lowpurity, or doubtful cases immediately.
- Support loan disbursal, renewals, followup for overdue or spurious cases, and help in NPA auction coordination while meeting timelines.
- Process customer transactions, maintain accuracy, and work with external valuers when needed.
- Explain the valuation results to customers in easy terms, handle their queries, coordinate with branch teams for smooth service, and ensure timely submission of documents to CPC after audit.
