Company Description Foolish Engineer™ creates in-depth explanations of how electronic hardware works, from individual components to complete systems. The channel focuses on embedded electronics, hardware design and power electronics.

Each video breaks down a subsystem, analyzing circuit behavior, design decisions, and real‑world failure modes. Content is grounded in detailed research from datasheets, application notes, standards, and direct conversations with practicing engineers. The audience includes professional hardware and firmware developers, power electronics specialists, automotive electronics teams, and advanced students entering the field.

We are looking for a Content Strategist to help us plan, produce and grow our videos. This is a freelance, contract-based role. It is not a full-time job. You will work directly with the creator and sit between the technical content and the creative team.

Role Description:

What you will do

- Build content strategies and plan the monthly video calendar
- Help with video production, from idea and script to final upload
- Work with video editors and graphic designers so every video is delivered on time and at good quality
- Turn scripts into clear visual plans for the animation team
- Create posts for LinkedIn, Instagram and other channels
- Suggest titles, hooks and thumbnail ideas
- Handle sponsorships and collaborations: find brands,



send outreach and manage the conversation

What we need

- Background or strong familiarity with Electronics Engineering knowledge. This is a must, because you will work on technical content
- Ability to learn new topics fast
- A energetic, positive personality and good communication skills
- Good written English
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with a remote team
- Strong Writing and Web Content Writing skills to support scripts, video descriptions, titles, and supporting materials.
- Background or strong familiarity with electronics, embedded systems, power electronics, or automotive hardware is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with YouTube analytics, SEO for video, and optimization of thumbnails, titles, and metadata.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in Stuttgart and interface with a professional engineering audience.
