Role & responsibilities

- Operate and program Wire Cut EDM machines as per approved drawings and specifications.

- Prepare CNC/Wire Cut programs, machine settings, offsets, and cutting parameters.

- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements.

- Perform job setting, alignment, clamping, and first-piece inspection.

- Measure components using vernier, micrometer, gauges, and other measuring instruments.

- Monitor machining quality, wire condition, dielectric water, and machine performance.

- Troubleshoot basic programming, machine, and machining-related issues.

- Maintain production records, minimize rejection, and ensure timely completion of jobs.

- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, machine SOPs, and 5S practices.
