DevOps / Web Infrastructure & AWS Specialist

Position Overview

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps / Web Infrastructure & AWS Specialist responsible for domains, DNS, hosting, SSL, website deployments, migrations and day-to-day web infrastructure across shared hosting, dedicated servers and AWS environments.

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shift Timing: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Market Focus: United States (US) and United Kingdom (UK)

Key Responsibilities

- Manage domain registration, renewals, transfers, nameservers, DNS zones and domain-related configuration across registrars and hosting providers.
- Configure and troubleshoot A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS and related DNS records.
- Manage websites hosted on GoDaddy, Hostinger, AWS and other shared, VPS and dedicated hosting environments.
- Provision, configure and maintain AWS instances and basic web-server infrastructure for websites and applications.
- Handle website and domain migrations with minimal downtime, including files, databases, DNS, email-related records and SSL.
- Deploy and maintain WordPress, PHP, static HTML and other web properties across appropriate hosting environments.
- Configure and renew paid SSL certificates and troubleshoot HTTPS, certificate-chain, redirect and mixed-content issues.
- Manage RDP/server access, VPN-related connectivity and secure administrative access where required.
- Perform website backups, restore procedures, migration checks and basic disaster-recovery processes.
- Troubleshoot DNS propagation, hosting errors, HTTP/HTTPS issues, server configuration problems, redirects and website downtime.
- Coordinate with developers to deploy updates and troubleshoot production issues.
- Maintain technical documentation for domains, hosting accounts, server details, deployment procedures and migration checklists.
- Monitor uptime, basic server health, storage, bandwidth and website availability.
- Implement basic security hardening,



access-control practices, backup routines and update procedures.
- Support staging-to-production deployment and rollback processes.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Hands-on experience with domain registrars, DNS management and hosting control panels.
- Practical experience with GoDaddy, Hostinger and AWS or comparable providers.
- Strong understanding of A records, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, DNS propagation and nameservers.
- Experience with shared hosting, VPS and dedicated hosting environments.
- Experience deploying and migrating WordPress, PHP and static HTML websites.
- Working knowledge of Linux hosting, cPanel/Plesk or comparable panels is preferred.
- Experience configuring SSL/TLS certificates and HTTPS redirects.
- Familiarity with RDP, VPN, SSH, FTP/SFTP and secure server access.
- Basic knowledge of Apache/Nginx, databases, backups and web-server troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose production issues independently and execute migrations carefully.

- Successful deployments and migrations with minimal or no avoidable downtime.
- Speed and accuracy of infrastructure issue resolution.
- Domain, DNS and SSL configuration accuracy.
- Website uptime and backup/restore readiness.
- Documentation quality and adherence to security/access procedures.

Preferred Experience

- 2–5 years of hands-on web hosting, infrastructure, system administration or DevOps experience.
- Travel/e-commerce website infrastructure experience is an advantage.

Pay: ₹533,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
