Role & responsibilities

We are building a new in-house content team to show India what goes into defence engineering: short, hook-driven videos of our machines that explain what each one does and the larger aircraft, vehicle or system it supports. The aim is to make Neometrix known among young engineers and the wider public on Instagram, YouTube, X and LinkedIn. The team is three people a videographer-editor, a technical scriptwriter and a social media executive working directly with a Director who sets the creative direction.

You will film our machines, people and shop floor, and turn the footage into videos people watch to the end. You own every step after the script: planning the shoot, lighting and filming, editing, sound, captions and the final export for each platform. You will work closely with the scriptwriter and the social media executive, and with freelance animators for the 3D shots that show where a machine fits in the larger system.

Shooting • Film machines in action, assembly, testing,



commissioning and the people who build them, at our Noida works and, with permission, at customer sites • Plan shot lists with the scriptwriter; handle camera, phone, gimbal, lighting and audio • Shoot for vertical (Reels, Shorts) and horizontal (YouTube, LinkedIn) formats in the same session Editing • Edit short-form videos with strong hooks, tight pacing, captions, sound design and colour • Edit longer YouTube videos and occasional company films for exhibitions and customers • Add titles, call-outs and straightforward motion graphics; brief freelance 3D animators and cut their work in • Turn edits around quickly we aim to publish several videos every week Library and equipment • Keep the footage library organised, named and backed up • Look after the camera kit and recommend upgrades as the channel grows
