Role & responsibilities

- Plan and coordinate manufacturing activities for industrial machinery.

- Study engineering drawings, 3D models, BOMs, and technical specifications before production.

- Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure smooth execution of machine manufacturing.

- Plan fabrication, machining, assembly, and installation activities.

- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of machines and components.

- Coordinate with fabrication and shop-floor teams for manufacturing activities.

- Identify and resolve manufacturing and assembly-related issues.

- Improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency.

- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and other resources.

- Monitor machine fabrication and assembly as per approved drawings and specifications.

- Coordinate with the Design Engineering team regarding drawing modifications and manufacturing feasibility.

- Assist in preparing production plans, work schedules, and material requirements.

- Ensure proper quality checks at different stages of manufacturing and assembly.

- Coordinate with purchase and stores teams for timely availability of materials and components.

- Support machine testing, trial runs, installation, and commissioning activities when required.

- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes.

- Ensure adherence to workplace safety and company manufacturing procedures.





Preferred candidate profile

- 25 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering or industrial machinery production.

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production & Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.

- Strong understanding of machine manufacturing and fabrication processes.

- Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.

- Practical knowledge of machine assembly and shop-floor activities.

- Good coordination skills with design, production, fabrication, purchase, and quality teams.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple manufacturing activities and meet project deadlines.

- Candidates with experience in beverage machinery, food processing machinery, packaging machinery, bottling plants, or similar industrial machinery will be strongly preferred.
