- Set up and operate VMC machines for job/batch production as per drawings and process sheets
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T; symbols, and work instructions
- Select, load, and align appropriate cutting tools and fixtures
- Set work offsets, tool offsets, and verify program parameters before running production
- Load/edit existing CNC programs (G-code/M-code) for minor corrections when required
- Monitor the machining process, coolant flow, and tool wear during operation
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspection using Vernier callipers, micrometres, height gauges, bore gauges, dial/plug gauges, etc.
- Identify and report deviations, tool breakage, or quality issues promptly
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping of the machine and work area
- Maintain accurate production logs, quality records, and shift handover reports
- Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements,



and 5S standards on the shop floor
- Coordinate with programmers, quality inspectors, and supervisors on process improvements or non-conformances

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong working knowledge of VMC operations (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas controllers)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T;
- Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and coolant selection
- Basic CNC program editing and offset-setting skills
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and quality-first mind-set
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and stand for extended periods

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
