Role Description The Visiting Faculty - Securities & Portfolio Management will deliver high-quality classroom teaching and case-based learning to postgraduate management students in Mumbai. The role involves designing and updating course outlines, preparing lectures and learning materials, and guiding learners through concepts such as securities markets, investment analysis, portfolio construction, risk management, and performance evaluation. The faculty member will assess student performance through assignments, projects, examinations, and class participation, while offering academic mentoring and practical industry perspectives.

Responsibilities also include collaborating with other faculty on curriculum development, contributing to seminars or workshops,



and integrating current market trends, regulations, and practices into teaching. This is a visiting basis, on-site role based at Athena School of Management in Mumbai.

Qualifications

- Strong academic grounding in Finance, Investments, and Portfolio Management, supported by a master’s degree or higher in Finance, Management, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Practical expertise in securities markets, investment analysis, asset allocation, and risk management, ideally with relevant industry or consulting experience.
- Demonstrated ability in curriculum design, pedagogical planning, and the use of contemporary teaching methods, including case studies and experiential learning.
- Research orientation or scholarly engagement in capital markets, portfolio theory, or related areas, with the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible learning.
- Strong communication, presentation, and classroom facilitation skills, with the ability to mentor diverse learners and foster an inclusive, collaborative learning environment.
- Comfort with using digital tools and learning platforms to enhance course delivery and student engagement.
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and close interaction with industry to keep course content aligned with current market realities.
- Prior teaching or training experience at a business school or professional institute is highly desirable.
