Role Description

We are looking for a Visiting Faculty – Warehousing, Inventory & Transportation on a part-time, hourly basis, located in office in Kochi. The faculty member will deliver classroom sessions, workshops, and case-based learning to students in our logistics and supply chain programs.

Core subjects:

- Warehousing Management: warehouse layout and design, receiving and dispatch, storage systems, picking and packing, WMS, safety and compliance
- Inventory Management: inventory control techniques, stock valuation, ABC/XYZ analysis, reorder levels, cycle counting, demand forecasting
- Transportation Management: modes of transport, route planning, fleet management, freight costing, TMS, last-mile delivery

Key responsibilities include

- Planning and delivering lectures on the core subjects above
- Preparing teaching materials, case studies, and practical exercises based on real warehouse and transport operations
- Designing assessments, evaluating student performance,



and giving constructive feedback
- Mentoring students on projects and sharing industry insights to prepare them for the workplace
- Working with the academic team to keep course content aligned with current industry practices

Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience in warehousing, inventory control, and/or transportation operations
- 5+ years of industry experience in roles such as Warehouse Manager, Inventory Controller, Transport/Fleet Manager, or Logistics Operations Manager; teaching or corporate training experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with WMS, TMS, or ERP systems (such as SAP or Tally) is an added advantage
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field (industry certifications are a plus)
- Ability to deliver engaging lectures, case studies, and practical exercises for adult learners
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment design in a vocational or professional training setting is a plus
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain operational concepts simply (English required; Malayalam is an advantage)
- Flexibility to teach day, evening, or weekend batches as required
- Commitment to learner success, ethical teaching practices, and an inclusive, respectful classroom
