Role Description The Visa Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ambala. This role involves counseling prospective students and families on study abroad options, including destinations, courses, and institutions, and guiding them through the entire visa application process.

The Visa

Counselor will review documentation, prepare and submit visa files, track application status, and coordinate with internal teams and external agencies as needed. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, maintaining accurate records, following up with clients,



and ensuring compliance with the latest immigration and visa regulations for multiple countries. The role also includes participating in seminars or information sessions, supporting refusal case re-application strategies, and contributing to a client-centric, ethical advisory environment.

Qualifications

- Counseling and advisory skills for guiding students and families on study abroad choices and visa processes.
- Solid documentation, file preparation, and attention-to-detail capabilities for handling visa applications and related paperwork.
- Knowledge of international education systems and basic understanding of immigration and visa regulations for major destinations such as Canada, Australia, UK, USA, and others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex processes clearly and build trust with clients.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple cases, follow-ups, and deadlines efficiently.
- Proficiency in common office software and basic data management tools for maintaining records and reports.
- Prior experience in visa counseling, overseas education consulting, or related fields is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; education in counseling, administration, or international studies is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Ambala, maintain professional ethics, and contribute positively to a team-focused environment.
