Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in the Greater Chennai Area.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, editing videos for various digital platforms, and ensuring that final outputs align with brand and campaign objectives. Daily tasks include cutting and sequencing clips, adding transitions, sound, and basic effects, as well as collaborating with creative and marketing teams to refine concepts and storyboards. The role also involves color correcting and grading footage, integrating motion graphics or visual elements, and preparing multiple versions of content optimized for different channels.

Editor is expected to manage timelines, maintain organized project files, and consistently deliver polished, high-quality video content.

Qualifications

- Ability to manage end-to-end video production workflows, including planning, shooting support, and post-production.
- Strong video editing skills with proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Experience with video color grading and color correction to achieve consistent, professional visual outcomes.
- Proficiency in motion graphics and graphics creation using tools such as Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, or similar.
- Attention to detail, strong visual storytelling ability, and a good sense of pacing, composition, and audio-visual synchronization.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, take feedback constructively, and work within brand and style guidelines.
- Relevant experience in digital content creation, marketing campaigns, or agency/production environments is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
