Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

About the Role The Belgian Waffle Xpress (TBWX) is looking for a Video Editor Intern who is creative, eager to learn and interested in creating engaging short-form content.

You will work closely with our Marketing and Brand team to create Instagram Reels, promotional videos, social media content, advertisements and other visual content for TBWX and its brands.

This is a hands-on role where you will get practical exposure to working on real brand campaigns and high-volume social media content.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos, Instagram Reels and promotional content.
- Create engaging videos from raw footage provided by the marketing team.
- Add transitions, text, subtitles, music, sound effects and basic motion graphics.
- Adapt videos according to different social media formats and trends.
- Assist in creating video content for marketing campaigns and new outlet launches.
- Repurpose existing content into multiple short-form formats.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Brand team to understand creative briefs.
- Stay updated with current social media video trends and editing styles.
- Experiment with AI tools to improve video editing, content creation and creative workflows.
- Maintain organised project files and deliver content within deadlines.

Requirements

- Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects,



DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar tools.
- Good understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form video content.
- Strong sense of pacing, music, transitions and visual storytelling.
- Willingness to learn and experiment with new editing and AI tools.
- Creative mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Students, recent graduates and candidates with relevant personal/project portfolios are welcome to apply.

Good to Have

- Basic knowledge of motion graphics.
- Experience creating Reels or social media content.
- Familiarity with AI video/content tools.
- A portfolio, Instagram page, YouTube channel or examples of previous editing work.

Portfolio is strongly preferred.
