Role Description The Vice President Operations at Luman Automotive is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Rudrapur, Pantnagar responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations across manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution.

This role leads the design and execution of operational strategies, ensures effective production planning, and drives continuous improvement in quality, safety, and productivity.

The Vice President

Operations manages operational budgets and P&L; performance, optimizes resource allocation, and aligns operational metrics with organizational goals.



Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional leaders, strengthening customer service performance, and ensuring timely fulfillment of OEM, OES, and aftermarket commitments. The role also involves mentoring operational teams, implementing best practices, and supporting strategic projects that enhance scalability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management, including production, supply chain, and process optimization.
- Strong experience in P&L; Management, budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control.
- Proficiency in Strategic Planning and execution, with a track record of aligning operations with long-term business goals.
- Advanced Project Management skills, including leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering complex projects on time.
- Background in Customer Service and service-level management, with the ability to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Extensive leadership experience in automotive or manufacturing sectors, overseeing large teams and multi-site operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with data-driven and outcome-focused approaches.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Management, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
