P.G. Garodia School is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and passionate Art & Craft Teacher to join our school. The ideal candidate should have strong artistic skills and the ability to engage students through practical, creative, and age-appropriate activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging Art & Craft lessons for students.
- Teach drawing, sketching, painting, colouring, paper craft, clay modelling, and other creative techniques.
- Encourage creativity, imagination, and self-expression among students.
- Prepare students for art competitions, exhibitions, and school events.
- Create artwork and displays for school celebrations, bulletin boards, exhibitions, and special events.
- Assess students' artwork and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and creative classroom environment.
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper use of art and craft materials.
- Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary and school projects.
- Participate in school activities, workshops, and events as required.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualification will be an advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience as an Art & Craft Teacher preferred.
- Experience in a school, preferably an ICSE school, will be an advantage.
- Candidates should have a strong understanding of different art and craft techniques.
