Company Description Intraflix is building an interactive cinema platform that transforms traditional movie screenings into shared, participatory experiences. Audience members use their phones to influence action sequences, vote on character decisions, and unlock hidden scenes without leaving their seats, making each screening unique. The platform spans mobile, web, TV, and a desktop application that integrates directly with theater projection systems, all synchronized in real time to the theater environment.

Intraflix has spent several years researching and prototyping at the intersection of technology and cinema, with work featured in outlets such as Variety and Fortune. Backed by letters of intent from major Indian producers and internationally acclaimed filmmakers, the company is now entering a prototyping and test-screening phase for a feature film designed specifically for this interactive format.

Role Description As a User Experience Designer at Intraflix, you will design intuitive, engaging experiences across mobile, web, TV, and desktop applications that support interactive cinema screenings. You will translate complex, real-time interactions into clear user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that work seamlessly for audiences and theater operators. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product, engineering, and film production teams,



conducting user research and usability testing, refining interaction patterns, and iterating on prototypes based on feedback and data.

This is a contract role based in Bengaluru in a hybrid setup, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. You will play a key role in shaping how audiences participate in films and how theaters operate within this current interactive format.

Qualifications

- Strong user-centered design skills, including Design Thinking and User Experience (UX) principles.
- Experience with User Research methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Proficiency in Visual Design, creating clear, accessible, and engaging interfaces.
- Hands-on Prototyping skills using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and creative talent.
- Experience designing for multi-platform ecosystems (mobile, web, TV, or desktop) is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with interactive media, entertainment, or real-time systems is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present and defend design decisions to diverse stakeholders.
