We are looking for an experienced Draughtsman with a solid understanding of mechanical drafting and engineering drawings. The candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software and should be familiar with engineering design and manufacturing requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using CAD software.
- Create engineering drawings, component drawings, and assembly drawings as per design specifications.
- Develop detailed drawings for manufacturing and fabrication purposes.
- Interpret engineering sketches, design concepts, and technical specifications.
- Ensure accuracy of dimensions, tolerances, and technical details in drawings.
- Revise and update drawings based on design changes and feedback.
- Coordinate with the design, production,
and engineering teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Maintain and organize technical drawings, CAD files, and documentation.
- Assist in preparing bills of materials (BOMs) and other technical documentation, as required.
- Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards and manufacturing requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical drafting and detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D software.
- Knowledge of mechanical components, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
