UI/UX Designer (4+ Years) | Government Project | Delhi NCR

Zoenix is hiring a UI/UX Designer for a government-sector technology project.

Position Details

- Role: UI/UX Designer
- Experience: 4+ years
- Location: Delhi / Gurgaon / Noida
- Work Mode: On-site, Delhi
- Compensation: Up to ₹40,000/month
- Contract: 1 year, with potential for extension
- Interview: Face-to-face in Delhi
- Location Requirement: Candidates must currently be based in Delhi, Gurgaon or Noida
- Notice Period: No restriction. Candidates currently working and not serving notice can also apply.

Role Overview We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with hands-on experience designing intuitive, accessible and user-friendly digital experiences across web and mobile applications.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across the complete design lifecycle, from user research and wireframing through prototyping and final UI design.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business and user requirements and translate them into effective design solutions
- Conduct user research and understand user needs and pain points
- Create user flows, information architecture and journey maps
- Develop wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes
- Design intuitive and visually consistent web and mobile interfaces
- Create reusable UI components and design systems
- Collaborate with developers, product/business teams and QA
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate designs
- Ensure designs are responsive across devices and screen sizes
- Incorporate accessibility principles into UI/UX designs
- Conduct usability reviews and identify opportunities for improving user experience
- Maintain design documentation and specifications for development teams




- Support developers during implementation and resolve design-related queries

Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of hands-on UI/UX Design experience
- Solid understanding of UI and UX principles
- Experience designing web and mobile applications
- Strong experience with wireframing and prototyping
- Experience with tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or equivalent
- Understanding of user flows and information architecture
- Experience creating high-fidelity UI designs
- Strong understanding of responsive design
- Experience working with design systems and reusable components
- Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles
- Strong visual design and attention to detail
- Ability to work closely with developers and cross-functional teams

Preferred Experience
- Experience with accessible digital products
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA
- Experience designing multilingual applications
- Experience with large-scale digital platforms
- Experience working with government/public-sector projects

Government/public-sector experience is not mandatory for this role.

Candidate Requirements

- Currently based in Delhi, Gurgaon or Noida
- Comfortable working on-site in Delhi
- Comfortable attending a face-to-face interview in Delhi
- Comfortable with a 1-year contractual engagement with potential for extension
- No restriction on notice period or current employment status

Important Candidates should have a strong portfolio demonstrating actual UI/UX work across web and/or mobile applications. Candidates with only graphic design experience and without substantial product UI/UX experience may not be considered.

The source requirement includes UI/UX experience, mobile-first design, accessibility, multilingual applications and WCAG 2.1 AA/GIGW 3.0.
