Role Description The Thailand Vietnam Cambodia Laos Expert is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar, responsible for designing and managing eco-friendly travel itineraries across these four countries. This role involves researching destinations, curating culturally sensitive and sustainable tour programs, and coordinating with local partners, guides, and accommodations to ensure high-quality experiences. The expert will advise customers on travel options, provide detailed destination information, and support them throughout the booking and travel process.

Daily tasks include responding to inquiries, preparing proposals and costings, maintaining accurate travel documentation,



and ensuring that all tours align with Ecoteirra®’s ecotourism principles. The role also collaborates with the wider team to improve products, enhance customer satisfaction, and promote responsible travel in Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

- Strong destination knowledge of Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, including culture, geography, key attractions, and local regulations.
- Experience in travel planning, itinerary design, and on-ground operations for international or eco-tourism-focused tours.
- Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex travel details clearly and support travelers before and during trips.
- Commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism, with awareness of environmental and social impacts of travel.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar, collaborate effectively with a diverse team, and manage multiple bookings and deadlines.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of any Southeast Asian language is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Geography, International Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in travel operations.
- Prior experience with tour operators, travel agencies, or destination management companies is highly beneficial.
