Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technician role based in Navi Mumbai. The Technician will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment used in the manufacturing of oils, lubricants, and specialty products, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting routine inspections, performing basic troubleshooting, supporting preventive maintenance activities, and documenting operational parameters,
test results, and incidents.
The role also involves collaborating with supervisors and quality teams to implement process improvements, following standard operating procedures, and assisting in batch changes or line setups. The Technician is expected to work in shifts as required by production schedules and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess robust technical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to operate and monitor industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Candidates should possess skills in basic troubleshooting, routine maintenance support, and understanding of process workflows in a manufacturing environment.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of safety practices, quality control procedures, and an awareness of environmental compliance in industrial operations.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions, report issues clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering disciplines is preferred; prior experience in oil, lubricant, petrochemical, or related industries is an advantage.
- Ability to work in shifts, stand for extended periods, and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines is required.
