Role Description The Technical Support Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position located in Ramanathapuram. This role involves providing technical support for gas turbine power plant systems, including diagnosing issues, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating repairs or corrective actions.

The Technical Support

Engineer will respond to customer inquiries, guide users through troubleshooting steps, and document solutions and recurring issues. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring system performance, collaborating with maintenance and operations teams, preparing technical reports,



and ensuring that customer concerns are addressed promptly. The role also requires adherence to safety protocols and participation in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide Technical Support and Troubleshooting for electrical/electronic systems and power plant equipment.
- Strong Analytical Skills to diagnose complex issues, interpret technical data, and perform root cause analysis.
- Customer Support and Customer Satisfaction focus, with the ability to communicate clearly and manage expectations.
- Relevant technical education such as a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in industrial, energy, or manufacturing environments, preferably with gas turbines or power plants.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, technical documentation, and maintenance management systems.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Commitment to safety standards, quality procedures, and continuous learning in technical support practices.
