Technical Sales – Personal Care Ingredients

About the Role :

We are looking for a technically strong and result-oriented Technical Sales professional to drive business development for our Personal Care Ingredients portfolio. The role involves working closely with cosmetic manufacturers, formulators, R&D; teams, purchase teams, and brand owners to understand their requirements and provide suitable ingredient solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop new business and manage existing clients in the Personal Care & Cosmetics segment
- Conduct client visits, technical meetings, product presentations, and trials.
- Understand customer formulation requirements and recommend appropriate personal care ingredients/raw materials.
- Coordinate with R&D;, formulation, technical, and application teams for product trials and technical support.
- Generate leads, identify new customers, and develop long-term business relationships.
- Handle product demonstrations, sampling, quotations, negotiations, and follow-ups.
- Track market trends, competitor products, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and maintain regular sales reports/CRM updates.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, documentation, dispatch, and after-sales support





Product/Segment Exposure :

Candidates with experience in Personal Care Ingredients / Cosmetic Raw Materials, such as:

- Emulsifiers & Emollients
- Surfactants
- Thickeners & Rheology Modifiers
- Humectants & Moisturizers
- Skin Care Actives
- Hair Care Actives
- Preservatives
- Functional & Specialty Ingredients

What We’re Looking For :

2–3 years of relevant experience in Technical Sales / B2B Sales within the Personal Care, Cosmetics, Specialty Chemicals, or Cosmetic Raw Materials** industry.

* Degree in B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Tech Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or a related technical field.

- Strong understanding of personal care ingredients and their applications.

* Good communication, presentation, negotiation, and client-handling skills.

Willingness to travel for *client meetings, visits, trials, and business development activities

- Robust commercial orientation with the ability to convert technical requirements into business opportunities.
