- Manage and supervise the day-to-day technical activities of the water treatment laboratory.
- Mandatory practical knowledge of STP, ETP and RO operations and treatment processes.
- Conduct and monitor analysis of water and wastewater samples related to STP, ETP and RO systems.
- Ensure accuracy, reliability and timely completion of laboratory test results.
- Handle NABL audits independently, including preparation, coordination and audit compliance.
- Maintain documentation and records as per NABL / ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs, test methods, quality records, calibration records and laboratory documentation.
- Coordinate NABL assessment, surveillance and re-assessment audits and address auditor observations.
- Prepare and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for Non-Conformities (NCs).
- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance and traceability of laboratory instruments.
- Monitor method validation/verification, quality control, proficiency testing (PT) and inter-laboratory comparison (ILC) activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental testing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve laboratory test reports and technical documents.
- Train and guide laboratory chemists and technical staff.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams regarding sampling, testing and technical requirements.
- Identify technical issues in STP, ETP and RO processes and provide suitable recommendations.
- Ensure laboratory safety, housekeeping and proper chemical handling procedures.
- Maintain continuous improvement of laboratory quality and technical systems.
Mandatory Requirements
- Strong practical knowledge of STP, ETP and RO systems – Compulsory.
- Experience in facing/handling NABL audits – Compulsory.
- Valuable knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Experience in water and wastewater laboratory testing.
- Knowledge of NABL documentation, NC/CAPA and audit compliance.
- Experience in calibration, method validation/verification, PT/ILC and quality control.
- Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Environmental laboratory experience.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater testing parameters such as pH, TDS, TSS, COD, BOD, DO, MLSS, MLVSS, ammonia, chloride, sulphate, etc.
- Knowledge of environmental standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage laboratory technical operations and audits.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
