Role Description The Technical Lead will oversee the end-to-end technical architecture and development of Criclive.in’s platform, ensuring fast, reliable delivery of live scores, commentary, and content. This full-time, on-site role in Janakpuri involves leading a small engineering team, reviewing and writing high-quality code, and driving best practices in performance, security, and scalability.

The Technical

Lead will collaborate closely with product, content, and design teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, prioritize feature development, and coordinate releases. Daily responsibilities include mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, monitoring system performance, managing integrations and APIs, and troubleshooting production issues in a live sports environment.



The role also requires staying current with relevant technologies and proposing improvements to keep the platform efficient, responsive, and user-focused.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in contemporary web technologies (e.g., JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS) and server-side development (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar), with experience building high-traffic, real-time applications.
- Hands-on experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), caching, and API design, including RESTful or GraphQL services for data-intensive platforms.
- Proven background in system architecture, performance optimization, and scalability, particularly for live data or streaming environments.
- Experience leading engineering teams, including mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and establishing coding standards and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), deployment automation, monitoring, and incident management in production environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, clear technical communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in cricket and sports technology, with comfort working in a fast-paced environment aligned to match schedules, is highly beneficial.
