Role Description The Technical Documentation Specialist – Health Care will create, organize, and maintain clear, accurate documentation for healthcare-related software products and solutions. This short term project, is full time remote job involves drafting and updating user manuals, technical guides, process documents, and release notes in collaboration with product managers, developers, quality engineers, and support teams. The specialist will translate complex technical and domain concepts into user-friendly content, ensuring consistency, compliance with internal standards, and alignment with healthcare industry requirements.

Daily responsibilities include gathering information from subject matter experts,



structuring documentation sets, reviewing and editing existing materials, and ensuring all documents are version-controlled and easily accessible. The role also contributes to continuous improvement of documentation practices and may support training materials, FAQs, and internal knowledge bases.

Qualifications

- Strong technical documentation and documentation management skills, with experience creating structured, maintainable content sets.
- Proficiency in technical writing and communication, including the ability to explain complex healthcare and software concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience developing and maintaining user manuals, implementation guides, and other product-related documentation.
- Familiarity with documentation tools and platforms (e.g., Markdown/HTML, Confluence, wiki systems, or similar), and basic understanding of version control practices.
- Knowledge of healthcare or health IT domains, such as clinical workflows, EHR/EMR systems, or regulatory considerations, is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple documentation projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in office with cross-functional teams in Bengaluru and to proactively gather information from subject matter experts.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Technical Communication, English, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
