Guidewire Technical Architect (Guidewire Developer - Architect)

The Guidewire Technical Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing cutting-edge insurance solutions across Guidewire ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, and BillingCenter platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end architecture for Guidewire implementations across PolicyCenter (PC), BillingCenter (BC), and ClaimCenter (CC).
- Define technical architecture, solution roadmaps, and design strategies for Guidewire implementations, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid deployments.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions within Guidewire and integrated enterprise systems.
- Develop architectural blueprints, technical roadmaps, and technology strategies aligned with long-term business goals.
- Evaluate and recommend adoption of new Guidewire features, cloud capabilities, AI/ML integrations, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
- Provide architectural leadership for large-scale Guidewire implementations, upgrades, and cloud migration programs.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to business stakeholders, project teams, and senior leadership.
- Define and govern non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, security, availability, and disaster recovery.




- Lead technical solutioning and translate business requirements into robust Guidewire solutions.
- Mentor development teams and provide technical guidance to developers, senior developers, and integration specialists.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, quality benchmarks, performance requirements, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA teams, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Drive sprint planning, effort estimation, backlog prioritization, and resource utilization.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, integration specifications, deployment procedures, and architecture documents.

Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Guidewire implementations and upgrades within the insurance domain.

- Solid expertise in

- Guidewire ClaimCenter

- Guidewire PolicyCenter

- Guidewire BillingCenter
- Extensive experience with Guidewire Cloud platforms and Edge APIs.
- Strong proficiency in Gosu and Java programming languages.
- Experience in Guidewire Configuration and Integration.
- Expertise in web services and system integration technologies, including:

- REST APIs

- SOAP Web Services

- Data Modeling

- Microservices Architecture
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
