Role & responsibilities

- Good understanding of 33/11 kV substation and Power distribution systems
- Understanding of protection systems, relay coordination, and SCADA integration
- Hands-on experience in ETAP / Dig SILENT / AutoCAD / PLS-CADD
- Familiarity with IEC / IEEE standards
- Strong learning attitude and problem-solving ability
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Engineering & Design Responsibilities
- Perform detailed engineering and design of 33/11 kV substations (AIS/GIS) and distribution systems.
- Review and validate the technical requirements of equipments and accessories according to the project requirements and Employer requirements and it should be cost effective.

- Prepare:

- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

- General Arrangement (GA) drawings

- Cable layouts and schedules
- Control & Protection schematics
- Preparation of Bill of Materials and BOQ according to the design requirements.





- Carry out design calculations:
- Load calculations, voltage drop
- Short circuit studies (basic level)

- Protection scheme development

- Relay setting calculations
- Earthing & Lightning Protection

- Optional Job Profile
- Support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site inspections, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with clients/consultants for design approvals and technical discussions, if required.

Preferred candidate profile

- Domain: Power Distribution / T&D; EPC / 33/11 kV Substations / Utility Projects.
- BE / Dip - Electrical
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Design Engineer in Substation, Power distribution
- Solid knowledge of electrical drawings and engineering documentation
