? HIRING – PROCUREMENT ENGINEER | SUBCONTRACT VENDOR DEVELOPMENT
Sri Gowrish CNC Private Limited is looking for a Procurement Engineer to strengthen our Subcontract Vendor Sourcing & Development team.
? Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
? Experience: 2–5 Years (Freshers may also apply)
? Qualification: Diploma / B.E. – Mechanical Engineering
? Salary: As per market standards
? Key Responsibilities• Source and develop new subcontract vendors
- Identify vendors for CNC/VMC machining, fabrication, welding, plating, powder coating, painting & other processes
- Vendor qualification, evaluation & onboarding
- Float RFQs and evaluate quotations
- Cost negotiation, benchmarking & cost reduction
- Understand and interpret engineering drawings
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and supplier capabilities
- Monitor supplier Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD)
- Maintain supplier scorecards and support supplier audits
- Handle supplier grievances and corrective actions
- Develop alternate sources and strengthen the vendor network
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering & SCM teams
- Drive supplier improvements through Lean methodologies
✅ Candidate Profile• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in Procurement / Purchase / Vendor Development / Subcontract Procurement
- Freshers with robust mechanical knowledge and interest in procurement may also apply
- Knowledge of ERP / SAP & MS Excel
- Good negotiation, communication & analytical skills
- Knowledge of special processes such as Plating, Powder Coating, Painting & Welding will be an advantage
- Willingness to travel to supplier locations
- Two-wheeler and willingness to travel for vendor visits preferred
