Department: Structural Design and Engineering Reporting to: Project Manager / Director

Job Responsibilities

1. Structural Design and Analysis

- Design structural elements such as beams, columns, slabs, footings, retaining walls and staircases.

- Perform structural analysis and design of residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

- Ensure structural safety and stability in accordance with applicable IS codes and standards.

1. Structural Drawings

- Prepare detailed structural drawings, reinforcement detailing and bar bending schedules (BBS).

- Review architectural drawings and coordinate structural requirements.

- Prepare foundation, column, beam, slab and staircase structural drawings.

1. Site Coordination and Supervision

- Visit construction sites to inspect structural work and ensure compliance with approved drawings.

- Provide technical guidance to site engineers and contractors.

- Resolve structural issues arising during construction.

1. Quality Control

- Verify reinforcement details, concrete grades, dimensions and structural specifications.

- Ensure construction follows approved structural drawings and quality standards.

- Identify design discrepancies and recommend corrective measures.

1. Software and Technical Skills

- Work with structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SECURE and relevant CAD tools.

- Prepare structural calculations and technical reports.





- Maintain updated structural drawings and project documentation.

1. Project Coordination

- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, MEP consultants and site teams.

- Review revisions in architectural plans and assess their structural impact.

- Support project planning, material estimation and technical decision-making.

1. Documentation and Reporting

- Maintain structural design calculations, drawings and revision records.

- Prepare site inspection reports and technical observations.

- Report design issues, project progress and pending technical matters to management.

- Timely completion of structural designs and drawings.

- Accuracy in structural calculations and detailing.

- Compliance with relevant IS codes and approved design criteria.

- Effective coordination between the design office and construction site.

- Prompt resolution of structural design and execution issues.

- Proper documentation and timely submission of deliverables.

- Maintain confidentiality of company designs, drawings and project information.

- Take responsibility for assigned structural design and engineering tasks.

- Complete assigned projects and pending deliverables within approved timelines.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
