Staff Engineer:

About the Role

As a Staff Digital Design Engineer, you will lead complex digital design projects and provide technical leadership. You'll influence SoC execution, guide methodology improvements, and lead small technical teams. This position requires deep expertise across your technical domain and strong cross-functional collaboration skills to drive innovation and excellence in digital design.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and develop system-level micro-architectures for complex digital designs
- Lead technical teams on complex digital design projects
- Guide methodology improvements and best practices across the organization
- Influence SoC execution, product success and technical roadmaps
- Collaborate across functions to drive creative solutions
- Engage directly with architecture, managers on technical requirements and solutions
- Mentor engineers and help develop technical talent

Must Have Skills

- Micro-Architecture: Expert ability to define and implement micro-architecture for complex digital systems
- Digital Design: Expertise in RTL deesign, synthesis, timing constraints, debug of critical datapaths and sub-systems
- Product Knowledge: Knowledge or high-speed,



low-speed peripherals, CPU architectures, memory architectures, technology process nodes
- Technical Leadership: Demonstrated capability to provide technical direction to engineering teams
- Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge across digital design technical domain
- Methodology Expertise: Authority in digital design methodologies with ability to drive improvements
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong capability to work across organizational boundaries
- Stakeholder Engagement: Experience translating system architecture into micro-arch and design

Preferred Education and Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 7-12 years of relevant experience in digital design engineering
