Supervisor Hilly

Terrain is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, responsible for overseeing geotechnical and geophysical investigation activities in hilly and challenging terrain conditions. The role involves planning and supervising drilling, sampling, in-situ testing, and field data collection in coordination with laboratory and project teams. The Sr. Supervisor will ensure adherence to testing standards, safety protocols,



and quality procedures while managing daily site operations, workforce deployment, and equipment utilization. This position also includes monitoring project progress, resolving site-related issues, preparing field reports, and supporting clients and internal stakeholders with accurate technical information. The individual will collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and management to meet project timelines and maintain high standards of performance.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation practices, hilly terrain site supervision, and field testing procedures.
- Experience in supervising drilling operations, sampling activities, and the use of specialized geotechnical equipment.
- Ability to interpret basic geotechnical data, field logs, and test results, and report findings clearly.
- Proficiency in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing field staff, and maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Valuable communication and documentation skills, with the ability to prepare concise daily reports and updates.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering; prior experience in hilly or difficult terrain projects is highly desirable.
- Willingness to work on-site in varying weather and terrain conditions, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with quality systems, NABL-accredited testing environments, and basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
