Job Title : MEP Engineer

Reports To HOD/Director

Responsible for coordinating and supervising MEP design and site execution as per approved drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers, conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues and design clashes, supporting MEP planning and scheduling, reviewing as-built drawings, maintaining project documentation, and monitoring overall MEP work progress.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Engineer to oversee the design, implementation, and management of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in our construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical knowledge, coordination skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with architects, consultants, and site teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepare and review MEP designs, drafts, and inbuilt drawings as per project requirements and industry standards.




- Supervise the implementation of works on-site as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate and follow up with Architects and Consultants for timely release of drawings and clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with design standards, quality, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure accurate execution of MEP systems.
- Provide technical input and support in the preparation of project specifications and tender documents.
- Identify and resolve design conflicts or site execution challenges.
- Assist in planning and scheduling of MEP activities in coordination with the overall construction timeline.
- Review and verify as-built drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain proper documentation, reports, and records related to MEP works.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of work.

Qualifications

- Education – Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

Working Conditions Candidate should have minimum 6 to 7 years no. of years of experience in Construction sector.

Skills Required

- Strong knowledge in MEP system design , drafting, and construction execution.
- Proficient in AutoCAD , Revit MEP, and other relevant design tools.
- Good understanding of building codes , safety standards, and local regulations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills .
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Problem-solving mind-set with attention to detail.

Salary Details : 5.8 to 7.2 lkhs CTC (Depends upon the interview).
