Role Description The Sr.

Human Resources

Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for leading and executing a broad range of HR initiatives that support BGI's growth and people strategy. This role oversees HR management activities including workforce planning, performance management, and HR policy development aligned with organizational goals. The consultant manages complex employee relations cases, advises leadership on HR best practices, and ensures consistent application of policies and procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and updating HR policies, advising on labor and employment law compliance,



supporting talent acquisition and onboarding, and coaching managers on effective people management. The role also involves collaborating with senior leadership on organizational development, employee engagement programs, and continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with proven experience in senior HR advisory or consulting roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining HR Policies that align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced skills in managing Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, performance issues, and employee engagement initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, with the ability to interpret and apply regulations to HR practices and organizational decisions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are an advantage.
- A minimum of 8 Years HR experience in consulting or working with technology-driven or multinational organizations, preferably with cross-border teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience using HR metrics and data to support decisions.
- Capacity to work in office in Chennai, collaborate in diverse teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
