Role & responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the sales and business development strategy for BESS products and solutions.

- Drive BESS sales, revenue, order booking, profitability and market development.

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across C&I;, utility-scale, renewable energy developers, IPPs, EPCs, DISCOMs, power companies and other institutional customers.

- Build and manage a solid BESS sales pipeline from lead generation to order closure.

- Develop relationships with CXOs, Business Heads, Procurement Heads, Project Heads, EPCs, developers and other key decision-makers.

- Understand customer energy-storage requirements and coordinate with technical/pre-sales teams to develop suitable techno-commercial solutions.

- Lead customer presentations, negotiations, commercial discussions and order closures.

- Identify and participate in relevant BESS tenders, RFPs and RFQs and drive conversion of opportunities.

- Work closely with Engineering, Presales, Project, Supply Chain,



Finance and other internal teams for proposal development and execution.

- Develop strategic partnerships with EPC companies, renewable energy developers, IPPs, system integrators, consultants and channel partners.

- Conduct market intelligence and track BESS technology, competition, pricing, customer requirements and industry developments.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Experience in handling large B2B, institutional, utility-scale or C&I; customers.

- Proven track record in achieving sales targets, business development and large-value order closures.

- Strong experience in key account management, tendering, RFP/RFQ management and commercial negotiations.

- Strong understanding of BESS parameters such as MW/MWh, C-rate, DoD, round-trip efficiency, degradation, cycle life, PCS, BMS, EMS and related systems will be an advantage.

- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of pricing, margins, contracts and commercial terms.
