Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and reliable South Indian Cook to join our hotel team in Manali. The candidate should have good hands-on experience in preparing authentic South Indian breakfast and other South Indian dishes, while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare authentic South Indian breakfast items such as Idli, Dosa, Vada, Sambar, Chutneys, Upma, Pongal, Uttapam, etc.
- Prepare South Indian meals and other menu items as required.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
- Manage daily kitchen preparation, ingredients, and basic inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Minimise food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.




- Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times.

Requirements
- Prior experience as a South Indian Cook/Chef, preferably in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or café.
- Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine.
- Ability to independently manage South Indian breakfast preparation.
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Hardworking, punctual, and reliable.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced hospitality environment.
