Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solutions Testing Engineer with strong expertise in Networking, Network Security, Customer-facing Solution Validation, POCs/Pilots, and End-to-End Scenario Testing.

The role will focus on validating a SaaS-based Quantum Security Posture Management (QSPM) platform in realistic, customer-representative network environments. The engineer will simulate real-world network topologies, security configurations, policies, workflows, and deployment scenarios to ensure the platform delivers accurate, reliable, and deployable results before and after customer implementation.

This is a solution validation and customer-environment testing role, rather than a traditional software QA role.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, configure, and maintain realistic customer-like network lab and POC environments.
- Create network topologies involving:
- Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks
- Routers and switches
- Firewalls
- VLANs and routing
- ACLs and NAT
- Network segmentation
- Cloud VPC/VNet environments
- Hybrid network architectures
- Perform end-to-end solution validation covering:
- Customer onboarding
- Network discovery
- Data collection and import
- Security posture assessment
- Security policy validation
- Remediation recommendations
- Reporting
- Customer workflows
- Develop and execute scenario-based test cases based on real-world customer use cases and deployment scenarios.
- Reproduce and troubleshoot customer-reported issues within lab, POC, or customer-representative environments.
- Validate platform behavior across different:
- Network vendors
- Network architectures
- Network sizes and scales
- Security configurations
- Cloud and hybrid environments
- Support pre-sales POCs, customer pilots, technical demos, and onboarding activities.
- Work closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering teams to validate technical requirements and resolve issues.
- Identify gaps between platform capabilities and real-world customer requirements and provide clear, actionable feedback to Product and Engineering teams.




- Design security validation scenarios based on industry frameworks and standards such as CIS Benchmarks and NIST.
- Troubleshoot networking, security, configuration, integration, and deployment issues encountered during POCs and customer implementations.
- Build and maintain demo and POC environments for technical demonstrations and solution validation.

- Evaluate network security configurations and identify common misconfigurations, security risks, segmentation issues, and attack-surface exposures.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall experience in IT, Networking, Network Security, or related technical domains.
- Strong hands-on experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
- Strong knowledge of:
- VLANs
- Routing protocols
- ACLs
- NAT
- Firewalls
- Firewall rule design
- Network segmentation
- Network security policies
- Strong understanding of network security concepts, security posture, attack-surface risks, and common network misconfigurations.
- Experience working with multiple network vendors and technologies.
- Proven experience in customer-facing technical solution validation, including one or more of:
- POCs
- Pilots
- Customer deployments
- Professional Services
- Solutions Engineering
- Sales Engineering
- Network Security Consulting
- Strong experience in scenario-based and end-to-end solution testing.
- Ability to evaluate a solution from a real-world customer and deployment perspective.
- Hands-on experience building and managing physical or virtual network lab environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.




- Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering teams.

Key Success Criteria
- Successfully validate customer POCs and pilots with minimal issues during production rollout.
- Accurately reproduce customer network environments and deployment scenarios for technical validation.
- Identify and troubleshoot solution gaps before customer production deployment.
- Provide clear, actionable, real-world technical feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
- Enable Sales and Customer Success teams to rely on validated environments, findings, and technical scenarios for POCs, demos, and customer deployments.
- Ensure the QSPM platform performs reliably across diverse enterprise, cloud, hybrid, and multi-vendor network environments.
