Role Description The Solar PV Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. This role involves designing rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems, preparing layout drawings, single-line diagrams, and system schematics using relevant design tools and software. The Solar PV Designer will perform site assessments, calculate energy yields, size system components, and ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with sales, engineering, and installation teams, preparing technical proposals and bill of materials, and supporting project execution through transparent documentation and design updates. The role also requires maintaining accurate records,



optimizing designs for performance and cost, and participating in continuous improvement of design processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in solar system design, including PV system sizing, layout planning, and technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in using design and engineering software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst or similar PV design tools, and basic electrical design applications.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of electrical concepts related to solar PV, including DC and AC systems, inverters, string configuration, protection devices, and grid interconnection.
- Candidates should possess skills in data analysis, energy yield estimation, and performance evaluation for solar projects.
- Candidates should possess good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering, sales, and installation teams and to explain technical information clearly.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field are preferred.
