We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Software Tester / QA Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and usability of our web and mobile applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of manual testing, test case preparation, bug reporting, regression testing, API testing, and basic understanding of automation testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UI testing.
- Understand project requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute test cases and document test results.
- Identify, reproduce, and report bugs with clear steps and supporting evidence.
- Track defects through their complete lifecycle.
- Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.
- Test web and mobile applications across different devices and browsers.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Verify API requests, responses, status codes, headers, and data.
- Collaborate with developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement discussions and provide QA feedback.
- Perform smoke and sanity testing before major releases.
- Maintain proper QA documentation.
- Validate application usability, functionality, and overall user experience.
- Identify potential risks and edge cases before product release.
- Support UAT and production-release testing when required.

Required Skills

- 2–3 years of professional experience in Software Testing / QA.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Good knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong experience in Manual Testing.
- Good understanding of:

- UI Testing
- Exploratory Testing
- Experience writing detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Strong bug identification and reporting skills.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with Postman/API Testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing.
- Good understanding of browser developer tools.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing is an advantage.

Automation Testing – Preferred

Candidates with experience in automation testing will be preferred.

Knowledge of any of the following is a plus:

- Selenium
- Cypress
- Playwright
- Appium
- JavaScript / TypeScript / Java / Python
- Automation framework concepts
- CI/CD basics

Mobile Application Testing

Experience testing Android/iOS applications will be an advantage.

SQL / Database Testing

Basic knowledge of SQL is required.

The candidate should be familiar with:

- Basic data validation
- Comparing UI data with database data
