Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer Intern at BuiltbyGSV. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and testing software components for web applications and backend services under the guidance of senior engineers.

Daily responsibilities include writing clean and maintainable code, debugging and resolving issues, participating in code reviews, and contributing to documentation. The intern will also collaborate with the engineering team to integrate APIs,



support AI and automation projects, and learn best practices in software architecture, version control, and agile development.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.
- Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C#).
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including experience with server-side frameworks and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with web technologies, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively in a remote environment, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in AI, automation, and building scalable, reliable software solutions; prior project or internship experience is a plus.
