Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated Social Studies Teacher to educate and inspire students. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Social Studies or related subjects, effective communication skills, and the ability to make history, geography, political science, and other social science topics engaging and meaningful.

The candidate should be committed to creating an inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, social awareness, and responsible citizenship.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Social Studies subjects, including History, Geography, Civics, and related topics, according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, assignments, and examinations.
- Explain historical events, geographical concepts, and social issues in an engaging and understandable manner.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, discussions, and active classroom participation.
- Develop students' awareness of society, culture, citizenship, and current affairs.
- Conduct classroom activities, group discussions, presentations, and project-based learning.
- Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain academic records.




- Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and motivation to students.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Coordinate with fellow teachers and school management to support students' academic and personal development.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, school events, and other academic activities.
- Promote ethical values, social responsibility, respect, and cultural awareness among students.

Qualifications and Skills
- Master's degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, Political Science, or a related field (M.A. preferred).
- B.Ed. qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and effective teaching skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching tools.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Ability to simplify complex topics and encourage interactive learning.
- Patience, creativity, dedication, and a passion for teaching.
