Training Period: 3 Months
Training Stipend: ₹5,000/month
Post-Training Compensation: ₹12,000–₹15,000/month, based on performance and final role allocation
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and execution-focused Social Media Operations Trainee who can ensure that our content is published correctly, on time, and distributed across the right platforms and communities.
This is not primarily a social media strategy or influencer role.
Your responsibility will be to make sure that once content is ready, it actually gets published, distributed, tracked, and completed without constant follow-ups.
You may work across multiple social media accounts and brands managed by our team.
What You’ll Do
- Publish posts, reels, carousels, stories, job posts and other content according to the content calendar.
- Manage publishing across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and other assigned channels.
- Ensure every post goes live at the correct date and time.
- Check captions, links, tags, hashtags, thumbnails and creatives before publishing.
- Share relevant content in appropriate WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn and other communities/groups.
- Maintain proper records of what has been published and where it has been distributed.
- Update daily content and publishing trackers.
- Coordinate with content, video, design and other team members when assets are missing or delayed.
- Follow up internally to make sure scheduled content does not get missed.
- Create or modify simple social media graphics whenever required using tools such as Figma, Canva or ChatGPT.
- Resize or adapt existing creatives for different social media platforms.
- Make minor caption or copy changes when necessary.
- Monitor basic comments, messages or responses and escalate important ones to the relevant team.
- Maintain organized folders for creatives, captions, links and published content.
- Share daily/weekly status reports with the team.
What We’re Looking For You do not need years of experience. Freshers and early-career candidates can apply.
However, you should be someone who:
- Is extremely organized and punctual.
- Can follow a publishing calendar without missing deadlines.
- Pays attention to small details.
- Is comfortable working with multiple social media accounts.
- Understands basic Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook functionality.
- Can learn tools quickly.
- Has basic familiarity with Canva/Figma or is willing to learn.
- Is comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT.
- Can work with Google Sheets/Excel and maintain trackers.
- Communicates clearly when something is blocked instead of waiting for someone to follow up.
- Can take ownership of repetitive operational work.
- Has a laptop and reliable internet connection.
Any previous experience managing your own page, college club page, internship page, business page, freelance project or creator account will be considered relevant experience.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role is straightforward:
Content should go live on time, in the correct format, on the correct platform, and get distributed wherever it is supposed to go — without someone having to repeatedly remind you.
Compensation & Growth
First 3 Months: ₹5,000/month training stipend
Candidates who successfully complete the training period may be offered a full-time position at:
₹12,000–₹15,000/month
Final compensation and conversion will depend on performance, ownership, reliability and business requirements.
This role can grow into Social Media Operations, Content Operations, Community Operations or broader Marketing Operations responsibilities.
