We are now looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our team in Patna.

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Social Media Coordinator who truly understands Bihar: its people, culture, festivals, language and the way its consumers think, watch, share and buy.

You'll be the operational bridge between creative teams, content creators and account managers, ensuring that content calendars, briefs, approvals, publishing schedules and trackers stay on track. You'll also bring the on-ground cultural insight that helps our content connect with Bihar's audience.

In simple terms: you'll make sure everything that's planned actually gets delivered on time, on brief, and in a way that feels true to the audience.

What You’ll Do

? Content Coordination & Scheduling

- Coordinate daily social media content execution
- Maintain content calendars and publishing schedules
- Schedule and publish content across social media platforms
- Plan content around Bihar's festivals and local moments (Chhath, Durga Puja, Holi, Sama-Chakeva, Bihar Diwas and more)

? Briefing & Approvals

- Brief designers, editors and content creators
- Track approvals and ensure timely delivery of assets
- Conduct basic quality checks and ensure brand guidelines are followed before publishing

? Community & Vendor Coordination

- Monitor comments, messages and community interactions, especially in Hindi, Bhojpuri, Maithili and Hinglish
- Coordinate with influencers and vendors for content delivery





? Tracking & Reporting

- Maintain campaign trackers and project management sheets
- Collect platform data to support performance reporting

Who Are We Looking For?

- Born, raised or currently living in Bihar, with a real understanding of its culture, festivals, traditions and everyday life
- 0–2 years of hands-on experience in social media or digital marketing (an internship, freelance work, an agency role or managing a brand/page all count)
- A degree, diploma or certification in Mass Communication, Marketing, Digital Marketing or Journalism is preferred; self-taught candidates with proven work are welcome
- Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook and YouTube
- Fluent in Hindi and English (Bhojpuri/Maithili is a big plus)
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under deadlines
- Strong written communication skills
- Familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Sheets and project management tools is preferred
- Strong understanding of Bihar's target consumers and their online behaviour
