We are looking for an experienced L3 Database Administrator with positive hands-on experience in SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle, along with knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.
- Handle database installation, configuration, patching and upgrades.
- Perform backup, restore, database refresh and migration activities.
- Troubleshoot database performance, blocking, deadlocks, CPU, memory, storage and connectivity issues.
- Manage HA/DR and database replication configurations.
- Perform query tuning, index maintenance and database health checks.
- Manage database users, roles, permissions and security.
- Monitor production databases and handle critical incidents.
- Perform RCA for database-related production issues and implement preventive actions.
- Support database services hosted on AWS and Azure.
- Work with application, infrastructure and cloud teams for deployments and production issues.
- Guide L1/L2 team members and handle technical escalations.
- Maintain database documentation and operational procedures.
Experience: 6+ years of DBA experience with strong production support and troubleshooting skills.
