Position Title: Site Head / COO
Company: Magnum Chemi Gran Pvt. Ltd. (Subsidiary of BDR Pharmaceuticals International Pvt. Ltd.)

Reporting To: Chairman & Managing Director, BDR Group
Department: Corporate Leadership
Level: Leadership (CXO)
1. Role Objective The role will be responsible for leading the overall strategy, growth, and performance of Magnum Chemi Gran Pvt. Ltd., ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and alignment with the broader business goals of BDR Pharmaceuticals Group. The incumbent will own the P&L; accountability, drive business development and strategic partnerships, ensure robust operations, compliance, and lead the organization towards sustainable growth and innovation.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement long-term strategic and annual business plans aligned with BDR Groups vision and growth objectives.
- Lead the business towards profitability, market expansion, and operational excellence.
- Drive diversification, innovation, and value creation initiatives to strengthen the companys position in domestic and international markets.
- Identify, evaluate, and execute current business opportunities, including technology collaborations, strategic alliances, and joint ventures.
B. P&L; Management
- Take full responsibility for the companys financial performance, ensuring top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization programs to maximize efficiency and resource utilization.
- Drive accountability across functional heads for revenue targets, cost control, and productivity improvement.
C. Operations Management
- Oversee all manufacturing operations, quality systems, supply chain, EHS, and productivity parameters.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory compliance, quality standards, and GMP practices.
- Drive operational efficiency through process excellence, automation, and lean initiatives.
- Collaborate with plant heads, R&D;, QA/QC, and Engineering to ensure smooth execution of production plans and timely delivery.
D. Business Development and Market Growth
- Build and strengthen customer relationships across domestic and global markets.
- Identify new business avenues, contract manufacturing opportunities, and product portfolio expansion.
- Collaborate with the BDR Groups Business Development and Marketing teams for synergy in opportunities and client engagements.
- Represent the company in external forums, industry associations, and regulatory bodies.
E. Leadership and People Management
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing management team aligned to organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across all levels.
- Develop succession plans for key leadership roles.
- Promote values of the BDR Group integrity, transparency, innovation, and excellence.
F. Governance and Compliance
- Ensure that company operations and business activities comply with legal guidelines, group policies, and ethical standards.
- Coordinate with corporate functions such as Finance, HR, Legal, and Compliance for governance and reporting.
- Provide timely MIS, performance updates,
and strategic recommendations to the CMD and Group Leadership Team.
3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of annual revenue and EBITDA targets.
- Operational efficiency (yield improvement, cost optimization, OTIF).
- Business development new clients, contracts, and markets acquired.
- Employee engagement, leadership development, and attrition control.
- Regulatory and quality compliance scorecards.
- Innovation and process improvement initiatives implemented.
4. Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification:
- B.Tech / B.E. / M.Pharm / M.Sc. in Chemical / Pharmaceutical Science or related discipline.
- MBA (Operations / Strategy / General Management) preferred.
Experience:
- 20+ years of total experience with at least 810 years in senior leadership roles in API / Intermediates / Bulk Drugs / Pellets Manufacturing.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end business operations and full P&L; responsibility.
- Strong exposure to domestic and regulated markets (USFDA / EU / ROW).
- Experience in business expansion, client management, and stakeholder engagement.

5. Compensation and Reporting
- Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and industry standards.
- The role will report directly to the Chairman & Managing Director, BDR Pharmaceuticals Group, and functionally interact with Group CFO, Group HR Head, and other vertical leaders.
