We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Works Supervisor to supervise fabrication activities at our workshop and/or project sites and ensure safe, timely and quality execution of assigned works.

Key Responsibilities

- Fabrication & Production Supervision• Supervise day-to-day fabrication activities including cutting, fit-up, welding, grinding, drilling, assembly and finishing.
- Ensure fabrication is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Allocate work to fitters, welders, fabricators and helpers based on project priorities.
- Monitor manpower productivity and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
- Coordinate fabrication activities with site erection and project execution teams.
- Ensure proper sequence of fabrication to achieve project schedules.
- Drawing & Technical Understanding• Read and understand fabrication drawings, GA drawings, shop drawings, structural drawings and welding details.
- Check dimensions, levels, orientations, weld details, material specifications and fabrication requirements before starting work.




- Identify drawing discrepancies or technical issues and coordinate with the engineering/project team for clarification.
- Ensure fabrication is carried out within required tolerances.
- Progress & Reporting• Monitor daily fabrication quantities and project progress.
- Prepare daily work/progress reports covering:

o Manpower deployed o Work completed o Material consumption o Welding/fabrication progress o Inspection status o Pending activities o Material/equipment requirements o Site constraints
- Highlight delays and execution issues to the Project Manager/Site In-Charge.

Required Experience & Qualification

QualificationITI / Diploma / BE/ B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

Required Skills• Strong knowledge of fabrication and welding activities.

- Good understanding of engineering/fabrication drawings.
- Good knowledge of dimensional measurement and fit-up.
- Understanding of welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW/FCAW and/or SAW will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of material grades, welding consumables and fabrication tolerances.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / reporting will be an advantage.
