Role Description

As a Civil Site Engineer at Malayan Infrastructure, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, contractors,



and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the construction process adhere to project specifications, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays that may arise.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Site Supervision:

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being carried out according to design and safety standards.
- Verify that materials and workmanship meet quality standards and project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on-site.

Technical Support:

- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams and subcontractors.
- Resolve technical issues and provide solutions to any construction challenges.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and inspection records.




- Prepare and submit regular reports to project managers and other stakeholders.
- Manage and review project change orders and ensure proper documentation of any changes.

Quality Control:

- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that construction work meets project specifications.
- Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality of materials and workmanship.
- Address and rectify any non-conformance issues identified during inspections.

Cost Management:

- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure that costs are managed effectively.
- Report any deviations from the budget and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Communication and Collaboration:

- Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
- Address client concerns and feedback in a timely and skilled manner.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Fresher in civil engineering, with a focus on site management and construction.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
