Role Description The Sheet Metal Fabricator will work full time in a remote capacity, supporting production of precision metal components used in diamond and jewelry manufacturing equipment and fixtures. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, measuring and marking sheet metal, and cutting, bending, and shaping materials to required specifications. The role involves operating hand tools and power tools for forming, grinding, and finishing parts, as well as assembling and fitting components to ensure accurate alignment and durable construction.





The fabricator will inspect completed work for quality, maintain tools and equipment, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to meet project deadlines and manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in metalworking, including cutting, forming, and fabricating sheet metal components.
- Skilled in the protected and effective use of hand tools and grinding equipment for finishing and adjustments.
- Experience operating power tools commonly used in fabrication, such as drills, saws, and presses.
- Ability to operate material-handling equipment, including forklift operation, in line with safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, measurement accuracy, and commitment to product quality.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Prior experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial production; experience in jewelry or precision components is an advantage.
- Capability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant technical or vocational training in fabrication, welding, or mechanical trades preferred.
