Position Description

Role: ServiceNow Scrum Master

Exp: 6-12 yr

Location: Hyderabad

Owns the day-to-day flow of delivery for a ServiceNow product squad —

running Agile ceremonies, protecting the team from noise, and giving the Product Owner and wider stakeholders a clear, honest view of progress. One generic profile applies across all six squads; the delivery pattern doesn’t change by product, only the backlog content does.

Roles and Responsibilities

Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives

Own and maintain the squad’s backlog structure and hygiene in partnership with the Product Owner

Track and report sprint velocity, burn-down/burn-up and flow metrics

Identify, escalate and help remove delivery blockers and dependencies

Coordinate cross-squad dependencies with other ServiceNow Scrum Masters and Product Owners

Coach the squad on Agile/Scrum practice and continuous improvement

Maintain visibility of risks, issues and decisions in the squad’s agreed reporting format

Support onboarding of new squad members — Accenture, GCC or permanent — into the squad’s ways of working.

Must-Have Skills

- Scrum Master / Agile Delivery experience in an enterprise technology environment
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Working knowledge of Kanban
- Experience managing and maintaining product/sprint backlogs
- Experience with ServiceNow Agile Development or equivalent enterprise backlog management tools
- Strong experience facilitating Agile ceremonies:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Stand-ups
- Sprint Reviews
- Retrospectives
- Sprint Measurement and Metrics
- Establishing and Managing Collaborative work flows on Confluence Platform.




- Experience tracking Sprint Velocity, Burndown/Burnup and Flow metrics
- Ability to identify, manage and escalate delivery blockers, risks and dependencies
- Experience managing cross-team/cross-squad dependencies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution and facilitation skills
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience preparing and presenting delivery status, risks and metrics to senior stakeholders
- Experience working in a blended delivery model / multi-vendor environment
- Experience supporting team onboarding and establishing Agile ways of working
- CSM, PSM I or equivalent Scrum Master certification, or willingness to obtain it during probation

Good-to-Have Skills
- ServiceNow-specific Scrum Master experience
- Experience working on a ServiceNow delivery programme
- Secure certification or experience working in a scaled Agile environment
- Experience managing multiple squads simultaneously
- Experience working as a shared/part-time Scrum Master across multiple teams
- Experience coordinating with multiple Scrum Masters and Product Owners
- Experience in enterprise ServiceNow implementations
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Agile Development / Agile 2.0 capabilities




- Experience with Agile metrics and delivery dashboards
- Experience driving continuous improvement across Agile teams
- Experience working with Accenture, GCC, permanent employees or other blended workforce models
